The death of Socrates.

This is an abridged version of Plato's Phaedo, where Krito is speaking to Socrates. I have typed it using the Symbol font, which is easy for computers to read but which does not show accents, breathings or iota subscripts.

This passage has been recorded by a girl who entered the 2003 Gloucestershire Classical Association Latin and Greek Reading Competition after learning Greek for just a few months.
