The next day, Malcolm re-grouted the whole mosaic, cleaned it with a damp sponge and buffed it to a shine with a damp cloth.
When would we dare to walk on it?
Would the dog ever be allowed near it?

The colours are much brighter when the marble is wet, and our local newspaper took endless photos of us watering it just like the rest of the garden!
